Two men have been arrested after an explosive device was discovered under a news media vehicle in Salt Lake City, Utah. Police say the device had been lit but failed to detonate, preventing what could have been a deadly incident.

The Salt Lake City Police Bomb Squad, Unified Fire Authority’s Arson/Bomb Squad, and the FBI responded to the scene near an occupied building. Authorities evacuated nearby residents for safety while the device was made safe.
