On the night of July 2nd, a mass shooting occurred outside Artis Lounge at 311 W. Chicago Avenue during a private album release party for local rapper Mello Buckzz.

  • The victims ranged in age from 21 to 32
  • The shooting was a targeted drive-by — the suspects circled the block and opened fire into a crowd outside the club
