1. Louisville, Kentucky – Fatal School Bus Stop Shooting
Police say a 15-year-old is in custody after opening fire on a mother walking her child to a school bus stop in the Russell neighborhood Wednesday morning. The woman was rushed to UofL Hospital, where she later died. The child was not injured.
This shooting happened near West Chestnut Street and 11th Street, close to Coleridge-Taylor Montessori Elementary School and Central High School. It’s the same area where another teen fired shots at a bus stop last week. LMPD is investigating whether the incidents are connected.

2. Cleveland, Texas – Cleveland ISD School Bus Crash
In Liberty County, Texas, a Cleveland ISD school bus rolled onto its side on FM 1010 Wednesday morning. Officials say 36 students were evaluated at local hospitals, with no life-threatening injuries reported. Parents have been notified, and the district is investigating the cause.
3. Jacksonville, Florida – Officer-Involved Shooting
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office confirms an officer-involved shooting on Buckman Street. The area between East 24th Street and East 27th Street is currently blocked off. Authorities are asking the public to avoid the area as investigators process the scene.
